Privacy Policy

SeeVoice (One Heart One Voice) is a global solidarity app where people in different countries play the same music, light and visuals on their phones at the same chosen moment. We care about your privacy: no name, email or phone number is required to use the app. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we process and why.

Information we collect

Anonymous device identifier: When you first open the app, a random identifier is generated for your device. It does not identify you personally; it is used to remember your participation and to avoid counting the same person more than once per action.

Country and city: The country and city you choose in the join flow. On first launch we also estimate your approximate country from your internet connection to show the correct local time (we do NOT collect precise GPS location).

Language preference and optional nickname.

Notification token: If you allow notifications, a notification registration (token) is stored so we can send notifications to your device.

Your support messages: Messages you send us from within the app.

Participation records: Which action you joined and when (for the counter and the synchronized experience).

Technical and diagnostic info: App/operating system version and synchronization metrics used to improve the experience (e.g. whether music/visuals are ready, clock drift, completion status).

Information we do NOT collect

We do NOT collect precise GPS location, camera or microphone data, or payment/card details.

We do not track you for advertising and we do not sell your data to ad networks or third parties.

Why we use information

To run actions simultaneously worldwide and show the correct local time.

To build participant counters.

To send notifications if you opted in (such as reminders for upcoming actions).

To respond to support requests and prevent abuse (security).

Who we share information with

The Expo/EAS notification infrastructure for delivering notifications; our server hosting provider; and Cloudflare for content delivery and approximate country detection. These providers process information only to deliver the service.

We do not share your information with anyone else except where legally required, and we never sell it.

Retention and deleting your data

We keep your data only while you use the app; we do not retain it longer than necessary unless legally required.

You can permanently delete all your data at any time from the app via Profile > "Delete my data". Alternatively, you can request deletion via the Support section inside the app.

Children's privacy

The app is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect information from young children.
